Currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Music (Musical Theatre) at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, Neve balances her teaching with a thriving career as an actress and musical theatre performer.

Mary Stapledon - Guest Teacher
From time to time Mary may be asked to jump in to cover one of the teachers' shifts. She is a singing, instrumental, and art tutor who loves guiding her students in discovering their own creativity and confidence. Since completing her Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Art at UniSA in 2020, she has enjoyed weaving together her passion for the arts with her love of teaching, including leading singing and art groups for people living with Parkinson’s.
She has also spent time exploring the Estill Method of voice, which deepened her understanding of how versatile and expressive the human voice can be.
Mary’s approach is gentle and encouraging, giving her students the freedom to explore their own creative voice whilst also providing the guidance and support they need to grow. She believes every child and adult learns best when they feel safe, inspired, and truly listened to, and her goal is to nurture both skills and self-belief so that students carry their passion with them for life. We a grateful for her offer to be available should the need arise to help out from time to time.
about voicestyle
Sue Scott created VoiceStyle Studio in 1991 with a determination to deliver effective vocal training for singers of all contemporary/popular genres. In an era of large entertainment schools, we are a 'boutique' sized studio focussing only on singing and performance, with an emphasis on personalising lessons to suit each student. In other words, we're more interested in the quality of our lessons than student numbers.
From its' inception the large focus was to provide live performance opportunities for students and, to date, VoiceStyle has produced over 40 shows to help students gain confidence and experience - events that have always proven popular with student families and friends. In 2000 Sue introduced singing classes for kids and, for the first time, began carefully selecting and training teachers to assist with growing student numbers.
"I'm extremely proud of the many students we've helped over the years and those who now work in the industry." Sue (See some of our Achievers here)
Open to kids, teens and adults we offer quality training to beginners through to professional performers. Lessons currently run Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and focus on technique and how to best deliver your songs to suit your unique voice and style. Individual lessons are 1/2hr in duration at the same time each week, while Group sessions are 45mins.
It's important to us that our teachers are not only outstanding vocalists but also well trained in vocal technique, effective communicators, enthusiastic and experienced performers. Our teachers are carefully selected to ensure you receive the best quality training covering all contemporary genres including jazz, pop, indie, musical theatre and R&B.
